RIP Biddulph Victoria
The end of the 2010/2011 football season will also see the end of local non-league club Biddulph Victoria who are folding after they lost the use of their ground at the request of the sport and social club they were affiliated to.
The club was formed in 1969 as Knypersley Victoria FC and changed the name in 2002 to represent the larger area of Biddulph instead of the small town of Knypersley.
The most famous name associated with the club was probably Mike Pejic who played for Everton and Stoke City. He managed the club in the mid 80s before going on to be assistant to John Rudge at Port Vale.
