Absolutely heart breaking but totally amazing. Pull up a chair and give it a listen for a few minutes.

May 4th marks 63 years since one of the worst tragedies in football history, the Superga air disaster. A plane carrying almost the entire Torino F.C. football squad crashed into the hill of Superga near Turin killing all 31 aboard including 18 players, club officials, journalists accompanying the team, and the plane’s crew.
The 1940s were a Golden age for Torino with the team becoming known as ‘Il Grande Torino’ due to their success. During that decade they won Serie A five times and set a number of records for Italian football that still stand to this day. They would never again reach the heights of the 1940s.
The Man Don’t Give A Fuck - Super Furry Animals
The ultimate protest song from the Welsh rockers that uses a sample from the Steely Dan song “Show Biz Kids” - “You know they don’t give a fuck about anybody else”.
The cover of the single featured a picture of tragic former Cardiff and Reading footballer Robin Friday flicking the v’s to to Luton Town goalkeeper Milija Aleksic. The sleeve featured a dedication to Friday “and his stand against the ‘Man’” alongside the Welsh proverb “Stwffiwch y dolig ddim y twrci” which roughly translates into English as “Stuff Christmas not a turkey”

Boxing Day action in the local derby between Kidsgrove Athletic and Newcastle Town at The Seddon Stadium.
After a festive pint in the clubhouse we took our place in the stand to see Kidsgrove start the brighter and open the scoring but fade later on with Newcastle grabbing an equaliser before half time. After another pint at half time the second half was goalless but both teams came close.
Final score - 1 - 1
The destruction of Ninian Park, former home of Cardiff City FC, with the new Cardiff City stadium rising in the background.
